Travel Plans? Stay Healthy!

In North America, summer is on the way. It’s a typical time of year to take a vacation. What’s more, leisure time that involves traveling to familiar, new or exotic places is usually something that most people daydream about and look forward to regardless of the season. It’s all about getting away from it all.

Some people set out on vacation with a drugstore supply of medications just in case they get sick along with any medical prescriptions. Never Give Up Hope!

Cass Brown CapelI was a “Taco Bell Queen” and “Diet Coke Drunk” before being diagnosed with estrogen negative stage II ductal carcinoma breast cancer in 1987 at age 32.  A friend recommended I talk to a woman named Julia Braddock.  Julia had gone through the Gerson juicing program and was cancer-free without undergoing chemotherapy. When I finally reached Julia, she told me about a barley grass juice powder that had drastically reduced her juicing because of the incredible convenience it offered. I took it for a few months, but I didn’t see Julia until I returned some AIM nutritional tapes to her four years later.

When I saw Julia again, I didn’t recognize her—she had lost 10 years!  I said, “Your skin is so beautiful.” She said, “You know, barley juice retards your aging.” I said, “No, it reverses it!”  I was 36 at the time and thought, if barley juice does that for your skin, I’m in.  Sure enough, people started giving me compliments on my skin and complexion, asking me what I was doing and so I started referring them to Julia. After several months, Julia called and said, “You need to be a Member so you can win contests and earn commissions.”  So, I joined AIM and began holding Monday “koffee klatsches” so people could ask questions.

The Hope

With my cancer diagnosis in 1987, I was strongly admonished against ever having children. This was repeated by my radiation oncologist at my last appointment in 1993. She cautioned me not to have children unless I was willing to have someone else raise my child, since my cancer was aggressive.  So I grieved the loss of not being able to have children.  But as I facilitated breast cancer groups in the following years, I watched as the tide of medical opinion gradually became more favorable toward premenopausal breast cancer patients having children.

John and I saw the first fertility specialist in 1998, and were told there was virtually no chance.  Our next appointment was in January 1999 with one of the best fertility doctors in the region. He was RUTHLESS. He said that at our ages that there was less than a 4% chance of spontaneous conception, and a 20% chance the child would have Down syndrome. He asked incredulously, why would I want to mess that up as a 12-year cancer survivor?

His words stung me. I walked out of his office with a resolve that I had never experienced before in my life. Any ambivalence I’d had about having children vanished. I felt a warmth, almost a fire, traveling up my spine into my heart.

Within a month, I was pregnant.  On November 11, 1999, we were blessed with Ariana, weighing 11 pounds, 3 ounces and measuring 22 inches.  It was a natural birth and she was born without anesthesia.

As a baby, Ariana would lick the barley powder off of her high-chair table top.  Last spring she finished her junior year with all A’s and worked as a trainer at a horse ranch the past summer. She is a diligent knitter in the winter, making cable-knit sweaters and wool socks for her friends.

Why was I able to stay cancer-free and and have a healthy baby when all the experts said it wasn’t possible?  I cleaned up my diet.  I took BarleyLife.  I used Renewed Balance during my pregnancy up until the eighth month, which is also good for your thyroid. There are other possible reasons, but one thing is for sure: I’ll never be without my AIM BarleyLife.

Moms and AIM Nutrition

This year, Mother’s Day falls on Sunday, May 13, a date to honor all of the wonderful things about moms. There’s the love, the caring, the kindness and the sup­port that good mothers give to their children. This outpouring of motherly con­cern is an everyday occurrence whenever re­quired. Essentially, motherhood is a full-time job: seven days a week.

For most moms, this enormous responsibility is one they embrace and cherish selflessly. And that responsibility begins with pregnancy and continues through infancy, childhood, the teenage years and beyond. In today’s world, even adult children may depend on parental support.

AIM Moms

Over the years, one thing remains constant when it comes to being an AIM mom: the importance of wholesome nutrition for children. There are so many examples of mothers whose nutritional intake was supplemented by AIM products, which also benefited their children before and after they were born. And in the long run, it just may be one of the most important things moms can do for their kids: getting them off to a healthy start in life.

Chairman’s Club Director Lanny Donald is the mother of four and grandmother of three. Many years ago, Lanny turned her health around with the help of BarleyLife, and she passed this goodness on to the rest of her family. Lanny and her husband, Ken, would eventually share the health benefits of AIM products with patients in their dental practice.

Two of Lanny’s daughters, Jensina and Kalina, who are both AIM Directors, have children of their own, and their babies happened to be born less than a week apart in September 2014. Kalina had twin boys, Kaelan and Keiran, and then a few days later Jensina delivered her son, Kaius. Both moms had taken AIM products for years. During their pregnancies, their key supplemental nutrition came from BarleyLife, LeafGreens and ProPeas, which helped to maintain their energy levels and avoid the usual cravings and symptoms that are often associated with pregnancy. Their children became BarleyLife babies, and today all three boys are healthy three-year-olds who love the taste of AIM nutrition.

AIM Director Tiki McIntyre has been taking AIM’s green barley powder ever since she was a little girl, thanks to her father, so dads can also play a major role in keeping their kids healthy. Once children are openly or surreptitiously introduced to AIM nutrition, they often clamor for it as a result. Preferred Member Jen Beaton will hear a “screech” from her son, Owen, if he doesn’t get a share of his mom and dad’s green shakes that he loves to drink with them every morning.

Health Benefits

Chairman’s Club Director Carolyn Kling knows that AIM products have helped so many people in her family. In one case, a granddaughter suffering from post-partum depression was able to improve her state of mind in around two weeks by taking the Garden Trio (a combination BarleyLife, Just Carrots and RediBeets): a fine example of “letting food be thy medicine” instead of drugs.

A Leader Thinks Outside the Box

Being an independent distrib­utor opens a world of ways to share the benefits of AIM products. It’s a great idea to always keep your options open and look for new opportunities that you may have never considered.

Darlene Vandermey, AIM Director, decided to try something different after attending The AIM Companies’ 2017 Celebration in Nashville and hearing comments from her friends Mary Weber, AIM Star Sapphire Director, and Barb Snodgrass, AIM Director. “I needed to think outside the box,” Darlene admitted.

Approaching her church committee, Darlene offered to teach classes entitled “Achieve Vibrant Health Physically, Spiritually and Mentally.” Not only was her kind proposal given the green light, the space she needed would be free, so she did not have to charge for the classes. “I thought people might bring friends,” Darlene said, “so it could also work as a community outreach.”

For six weeks from mid-September to October 2017, Darlene taught on Wednesdays, giving people the choice of morning or evening classes so that they never had to miss out on the valuable information she wished to share. “The average attendance between the two classes was eighteen people,” she noted.

Focusing on the Healthy Cell Concept (HCC), Darlene showed one component of the AIM DVD each week. The informative 1½-hour classes included AIM products for each HCC topic, a scripture verse, visuals, and aspects of Darlene’s recovery from fibromyalgia by using AIM products and making lifestyle changes. Week six concentrated on digestive health.

Darlene regularly empha­sized the out­standing quality control of AIM products. One class included a “Self-Care” session, offering hand soaks in Mag-nificence CWR and BarleyLife facials. During class breaks, participants enjoyed AIM drinks and healthy snacks featuring AIM ingre­dients. Recipes for each were provided on the final class.

At the end of six weeks, there was a display of scrapbook pages with pictures and sayings that Darlene had prepared weekly. During the last class, she held a prize draw and shared the benefits of becoming an AIM Member, having played the DVD of the “In Partnership For Life” song at the end of each class.

By thinking outside the box, Darlene found a new way of sharing both the AIM products and the Healthy Cell Concept. “Many of those who attended are now AIM Mem­bers enjoying vibrant health,” Darlene stated. “Thanks, AIM,
for amazing products, sup­port and being there for Members!”

AIM Keeps Me In the Game

AIM products have been a part of my life from an early age. I have been taking BarleyLife daily for as long as I can remember.

Using AIM products daily has helped me live a healthy lifestyle, but AIM’s salubrious effects have been most prevalent in my athletic career.

I started playing lacrosse in grade 5, and by freshman year of high school, I knew I wanted to play lacrosse in college as well.

In my first year of high school, I began taking Proancynol 2000, Frame Essentials and Peak En­durance in addition to BarleyLife. Using these products has greatly improved my availability in lacrosse. Today, I play Division 2 lacrosse at North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina.

Throughout my high school and current college lacrosse career, I have played or started in every single lacrosse game. During this period of time, there have been multiple occasions when I was either ill or injured to the point when I thought there was absolutely no chance I would be able to compete in the upcoming game. My Journey to Success

My journey to success started three years ago with my sickly boy, Roan. It was not my intention at all to start AIM as a business. After a consultation with Royal Emerald Director Madaleine Helm (my upline) I just wanted my friends and family to hear about this natural way of healing. Madaleine conducted my first AIM talk on hormones for friends and family. After that I was literally sold out of all the products she discussed.

I saw such a difference with my own children after I put them onto a gluten-free and dairy-free diet. I used the Garden Trio, FloraFood, Herbal Fiberblend and AIMega to supplement them.

I started organizing more and more talks and got to learn about the AIM business and the AIM products. When I started the AIM business, I reached Director status within three months. Becoming Star Sapphire Director looked so far ahead, I thought that will only be after many, many years of hard work. However, Madaleine was such a great help to me in setting up my AIM business that I was able to reach Star Sapphire level within three years.

I have built a great downline and we work together as a team, and what an amazing team this has become. I help my downline however I can. It is very important to do this as the stronger they become, so do you. It is also very important to focus on your own first level clients, to encourage them to stay on the products. Following up with clients is also very important as well as keeping track of their results. Every client is different, and each one has specific needs.

The extra AIM income each month is such a help to our family. Working AIM as a business is really worth it. I really don’t do this only for the money but to help other people with their health, and I really have a passion for nutrition. I have so many powerful testimonies on different products. Each and every AIM product is amazing for what it helps to achieve.

I am really working hard to achieve the next level in my AIM business. I encourage everyone who has a passion for nutrition and health to make AIM a successful business.

As the mother of four children, AIM as a business works perfectly for me. I can be with my children in the afternoon, to help with school work or extra murals and still help hubby with his business if needed. I organize my own hours. Running an AIM business gives you a lot of flexibility. I hope to build my business stronger and stronger in 2018.

Champions Forever with AIM

If you are a fan of the television program America’s Got Talent (AGT), then you have probably seen one of the most amazing acts to ever appear on the show: Bruce and Diane Crevier and their—count them—twelve children performing their “Spin-tacular Basketball Show”.

The road to AGT has been a long one for the Creviers. Their determination to succeed has meant a lot of miles, sacrifices and worn-out vehicles along the way: Honda Civics, mini-vans, fifteen passenger vans and a variety of motor homes up to their current mode of transport: a forty-five-foot tour bus, as the family travels and performs all over the world.

The Crevier Mission

It’s not just about being impressively entertaining. At the heart of their perfor­mances is a nonprofit mini­stry, “Champions Forever Ministries”, with a message. The family goes out of its way to encourage people to win at the game of life. As the inspirational words on the homepage of their website proclaim, it is their goal, “To know Jesus Christ, and to make Him known. To use our talents and resources to inspire, encourage, equip, and challenge youth and adults to become Champions in the Game of Life!”

The Spinning Beginning

It all began with Bruce’s childhood. He comes from a family of twelve children! Being the eleventh of twelve, he had ten older brothers and sisters who all played sports. His older brothers went to college and roomed with a guy who could spin a basketball. The brothers brought that skill home and taught their younger sister, Tanya, how to spin. Tanya learned and got good at spinning and dribbling basketballs. Tanya is ten years older than Bruce, and when Bruce was just seven years old, Tanya taught him to spin a basketball on his finger. Seeing his brothers and sisters excel in sports fueled his desire to be a great athlete, but he was never the fastest or the most talented on any team. What he lacked in size and talent, he made up for working hard and practicing. His fascination with doing tricks with basketballs inspired him to practice for thousands of hours. After many years of practice, he put these skills together into an entertaining show that has taken him all over the USA and to over 40 countries around the world.

As Bruce’s family grew, he taught these skills to his wife, Diane, and their twelve children, and today, the family brings a whole new dimension to the “Spin-tacular Basketball Show”! It is no surprise that the Creviers performed for game 3 of the 2015 NBA Finals, game 6 of the 2016 NBA Finals, and went all the way to Radio City Music Hall and performed for the finals of AGT. As a five-time world record holder, Bruce can spin twenty-one basketballs at the same time and can spin one basketball without a break for over twenty-two hours! This talent gives him an avenue into the hearts of people of all ages. Today they not only entertain, but use their talent as a platform to share a message of hope in schools, churches, community and business organizations, parades, prisons, basketball halftime shows, and anywhere else you can dribble and spin a basketball!

The Road to AIM

When Bruce and Diane were first married, they made it their goal to live a healthy lifestyle. They received a juicer as a wedding gift, and cleaned up their diet.
