A Leader Thinks Outside the Box

Being an independent distrib­utor opens a world of ways to share the benefits of AIM products. It’s a great idea to always keep your options open and look for new opportunities that you may have never considered.

Darlene Vandermey, AIM Director, decided to try something different after attending The AIM Companies’ 2017 Celebration in Nashville and hearing comments from her friends Mary Weber, AIM Star Sapphire Director, and Barb Snodgrass, AIM Director. “I needed to think outside the box,” Darlene admitted.

Approaching her church committee, Darlene offered to teach classes entitled “Achieve Vibrant Health Physically, Spiritually and Mentally.” Not only was her kind proposal given the green light, the space she needed would be free, so she did not have to charge for the classes. “I thought people might bring friends,” Darlene said, “so it could also work as a community outreach.”

For six weeks from mid-September to October 2017, Darlene taught on Wednesdays, giving people the choice of morning or evening classes so that they never had to miss out on the valuable information she wished to share. “The average attendance between the two classes was eighteen people,” she noted.

Focusing on the Healthy Cell Concept (HCC), Darlene showed one component of the AIM DVD each week. The informative 1½-hour classes included AIM products for each HCC topic, a scripture verse, visuals, and aspects of Darlene’s recovery from fibromyalgia by using AIM products and making lifestyle changes. Week six concentrated on digestive health.

Darlene regularly empha­sized the out­standing quality control of AIM products. One class included a “Self-Care” session, offering hand soaks in Mag-nificence CWR and BarleyLife facials. During class breaks, participants enjoyed AIM drinks and healthy snacks featuring AIM ingre­dients. Recipes for each were provided on the final class.

At the end of six weeks, there was a display of scrapbook pages with pictures and sayings that Darlene had prepared weekly. During the last class, she held a prize draw and shared the benefits of becoming an AIM Member, having played the DVD of the “In Partnership For Life” song at the end of each class.

By thinking outside the box, Darlene found a new way of sharing both the AIM products and the Healthy Cell Concept. “Many of those who attended are now AIM Mem­bers enjoying vibrant health,” Darlene stated. “Thanks, AIM,
for amazing products, sup­port and being there for Members!”

AIM Keeps Me In the Game

AIM products have been a part of my life from an early age. I have been taking BarleyLife daily for as long as I can remember.

Using AIM products daily has helped me live a healthy lifestyle, but AIM’s salubrious effects have been most prevalent in my athletic career.

I started playing lacrosse in grade 5, and by freshman year of high school, I knew I wanted to play lacrosse in college as well.

In my first year of high school, I began taking Proancynol 2000, Frame Essentials and Peak En­durance in addition to BarleyLife. Using these products has greatly improved my availability in lacrosse. Today, I play Division 2 lacrosse at North Greenville University in Tigerville, South Carolina.

Throughout my high school and current college lacrosse career, I have played or started in every single lacrosse game. During this period of time, there have been multiple occasions when I was either ill or injured to the point when I thought there was absolutely no chance I would be able to compete in the upcoming game. My Journey to Success

My journey to success started three years ago with my sickly boy, Roan. It was not my intention at all to start AIM as a business. After a consultation with Royal Emerald Director Madaleine Helm (my upline) I just wanted my friends and family to hear about this natural way of healing. Madaleine conducted my first AIM talk on hormones for friends and family. After that I was literally sold out of all the products she discussed.

I saw such a difference with my own children after I put them onto a gluten-free and dairy-free diet. I used the Garden Trio, FloraFood, Herbal Fiberblend and AIMega to supplement them.

I started organizing more and more talks and got to learn about the AIM business and the AIM products. When I started the AIM business, I reached Director status within three months. Becoming Star Sapphire Director looked so far ahead, I thought that will only be after many, many years of hard work. However, Madaleine was such a great help to me in setting up my AIM business that I was able to reach Star Sapphire level within three years.

I have built a great downline and we work together as a team, and what an amazing team this has become. I help my downline however I can. It is very important to do this as the stronger they become, so do you. It is also very important to focus on your own first level clients, to encourage them to stay on the products. Following up with clients is also very important as well as keeping track of their results. Every client is different, and each one has specific needs.

The extra AIM income each month is such a help to our family. Working AIM as a business is really worth it. I really don’t do this only for the money but to help other people with their health, and I really have a passion for nutrition. I have so many powerful testimonies on different products. Each and every AIM product is amazing for what it helps to achieve.

I am really working hard to achieve the next level in my AIM business. I encourage everyone who has a passion for nutrition and health to make AIM a successful business.

As the mother of four children, AIM as a business works perfectly for me. I can be with my children in the afternoon, to help with school work or extra murals and still help hubby with his business if needed. I organize my own hours. Running an AIM business gives you a lot of flexibility. I hope to build my business stronger and stronger in 2018.

Champions Forever with AIM

If you are a fan of the television program America’s Got Talent (AGT), then you have probably seen one of the most amazing acts to ever appear on the show: Bruce and Diane Crevier and their—count them—twelve children performing their “Spin-tacular Basketball Show”.

The road to AGT has been a long one for the Creviers. Their determination to succeed has meant a lot of miles, sacrifices and worn-out vehicles along the way: Honda Civics, mini-vans, fifteen passenger vans and a variety of motor homes up to their current mode of transport: a forty-five-foot tour bus, as the family travels and performs all over the world.

The Crevier Mission

It’s not just about being impressively entertaining. At the heart of their perfor­mances is a nonprofit mini­stry, “Champions Forever Ministries”, with a message. The family goes out of its way to encourage people to win at the game of life. As the inspirational words on the homepage of their website proclaim, it is their goal, “To know Jesus Christ, and to make Him known. To use our talents and resources to inspire, encourage, equip, and challenge youth and adults to become Champions in the Game of Life!”

The Spinning Beginning

It all began with Bruce’s childhood. He comes from a family of twelve children! Being the eleventh of twelve, he had ten older brothers and sisters who all played sports. His older brothers went to college and roomed with a guy who could spin a basketball. The brothers brought that skill home and taught their younger sister, Tanya, how to spin. Tanya learned and got good at spinning and dribbling basketballs. Tanya is ten years older than Bruce, and when Bruce was just seven years old, Tanya taught him to spin a basketball on his finger. Seeing his brothers and sisters excel in sports fueled his desire to be a great athlete, but he was never the fastest or the most talented on any team. What he lacked in size and talent, he made up for working hard and practicing. His fascination with doing tricks with basketballs inspired him to practice for thousands of hours. After many years of practice, he put these skills together into an entertaining show that has taken him all over the USA and to over 40 countries around the world.

As Bruce’s family grew, he taught these skills to his wife, Diane, and their twelve children, and today, the family brings a whole new dimension to the “Spin-tacular Basketball Show”! It is no surprise that the Creviers performed for game 3 of the 2015 NBA Finals, game 6 of the 2016 NBA Finals, and went all the way to Radio City Music Hall and performed for the finals of AGT. As a five-time world record holder, Bruce can spin twenty-one basketballs at the same time and can spin one basketball without a break for over twenty-two hours! This talent gives him an avenue into the hearts of people of all ages. Today they not only entertain, but use their talent as a platform to share a message of hope in schools, churches, community and business organizations, parades, prisons, basketball halftime shows, and anywhere else you can dribble and spin a basketball!

The Road to AIM

When Bruce and Diane were first married, they made it their goal to live a healthy lifestyle. They received a juicer as a wedding gift, and cleaned up their diet. With their new juicer, they would make fresh vegetable juice as often as possible. This included carrot juice, green juice, beet juice and any other juice that could benefit their active lifestyle, their traveling, and their Spin-tacular Basketball Show. AIM Star Sapphire Director Promotion

During 2011, my sweet three-year-old Leia, fondly known rather as Lulubelle, seemed to be on the verge of taking her last breath in my arms, awakening in the middle of night with a severe croup attack. She was immediately taken to emergency by ambulance to resuscitate her. It was the fright of my life that resulted in discovering that Leia was asthmatic.

This meant that she was condemned to the chronic use of cortisone, regular adrenaline for resuscitation and routine visits to the emergency room. Coincidentally, Leia’s first asthma attack happened the night before my five-year-old Chelsea had to be hospitalized for a malignant bone tumor removal and graft in her scapula. As they say: “It never rains, it just pours”.

In 2014, I was extremely grateful when my upline, AIM Director Marinda van den Bosch, introduced me to AIM Royal Emerald Director Madaleine Helm, who spoke one evening about her struggles with her asthmatic son. Madaleine used nutrition to turn around his plight, rather than feed her child chemicals that the medical industry has us believe are the only way to control such conditions.

I adopted Madaleine’s methodology and began habits that help keep the body environment healthy so that cancer and other diseases cannot survive.

I subsequently took Lulubelle off her meds cold turkey and started her on a full serving of the Garden Trio and FloraFood. Having always been somewhat savvy about nutrition and very keen on the idea of clean eating, I loved the idea of getting my girls onto BarleyLife and other AIM supplements that I deemed essential.

I also thought that I would try the business side of AIM purely to fund the cost of the products we would take. After all, I’m a single mom and already have a few work and community commitments that keep me really busy.

My AIM business grew easily as people came to hear Madaleine speak and share her many years of experience. People realized that these products really do work and can indeed change lives. Within six months, I reached Director and a few months later had two Directors in my downline. One is my closest friend, Chantel Bester, who is the most unspeakably amazing support in this business. Health Success with AIM BarleyLife

Back in February 2017, AIM Director Madeline Lagarde had just placed a sizeable phone order for BarleyLife when she told the customer service representative her good news. She and her husband, Dennis, were selling the “heck” out of BarleyLife at the Whole Health Market that they own and operate in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. The reason? Their son Dennis Jr, who is a registered nurse, has been telling people about his son Cameron’s health success from taking BarleyLife.

In September of 2015, Cameron thought he had pulled a muscle in his lower chest area. His father thought it could be costochondritis—inflammation of the rib-cage cartilage—because the pain would come and go. About a year later at the age of fourteen, Cameron was diagnosed with Ewing’s sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that had formed a baseball-sized tumor that was attached to his rib cage. Surgery was not an option because of its size and location.

“Cameron underwent chemotherapy; there is a high probability of curing this type of cancer,” Dennis explained. “But we wanted to do everything nutritionally possible for him. So he started taking BarleyLife as foundational nutrition to counteract the treatment’s major side effects: brain swelling, sterility and cardiomyopathy.”

During the initial bouts of chemo, Cameron would not eat or drink anything except for the BarleyLife. And then in the third week came the emotional effects of hearing the tragic news that his niece had drowned.

At the same time, he was physically doing so well that his mother started to refer to the cancer as a non-event. His immune system was so strong. Dennis added, “I’ve seen that with BarleyLife before back in 2000, when it helped my grandfather battle leukemia. It stimulates red and white blood cell production.”

At the twelve-week mark of Cameron’s treatment, an MRI revealed that the tumor had shrunk from the size of a baseball to that of a golfball, so surgery was scheduled for December 2016. At operation time, only a small, round film that resembled a soap bubble was found and removed. The pathologist and oncologist argued about who would deliver the good news because they never had results as good as this.

Cameron has not missed a serving of BarleyLife (7 capsules every morning and evening) since the first week of September 2016. In July 2017, tests showed that Cameron was cancer-free. As a fitting present to go along with the gift of health, Cameron and Dennis visited Disney World courtesy of Make-A-Wish®.

The Opportunity to Help Others with Nutrition Truths

My wife was diagnosed with breast cancer in June 2014. We didn’t know about any alternative options or nutrition, so she endured a terrible route of treatments: six weeks of chemotherapy, a double-breast mastectomy, radiation therapy and expensive medication that cost over $2,000 a month, all of which damaged her overall health and caused horrific side effects. After all of these treatments, we got hold of a documentary called The Truth about Cancer and began exploring more about nutrition.

Madaleine Helm, a nutrition advisor and AIM Royal Emerald Director, introduced us to the AIM products, which we started taking a few months after my wife’s treatments. We followed Madaleine’s suggested regimen, but the damage had already been done. We couldn’t turn around all of the side effects fast enough.

One of my wife’s wishes while she was still in hospital was that I had to share everything we learned with our three boys, their future wives and children, friends and anybody who wanted to live a healthy life. At that point in time, my heart was broken. I reminded her that the healthy route we tried wasn’t working for her, and she reminded me that we had started too late; the damage had already been done. Sadly, I lost her in September 2016.

We never planned to develop an AIM business. We only wanted to use the opportunity to help those who are ill and those that don’t want to become ill, showing them the natural way to live a healthy, disease-free life as we believe God created man to experience.

In less than four months of joining AIM, I became a Director. I have continued to take the products and follow a healthy lifestyle. Many people ask me what I’m doing as they can see that I have lost a lot of weight, and I’m feeling the best I’ve felt in my whole life.

I have to say that in the first few months following my wife’s death, it slowed me a bit down in planning and facilitating talks and selling AIM products. But after attending the AIM Celebration in Nashville, I decided that I had to continue as she wished: doing talks and consultations and spreading the good news. I also decided to name my AIM business “Nutrition Truths.”

First we give all the glory to God, advising people who come to the talks about the natural way that we believe He intended. When treating illnesses, we should not be enslaved by all the medicines that have numerous side effects. I am a pharmacist by occupation although I’m no longer directly involved in the pharmaceutical environment. With my “New Truths” learned—and walking the talk—I don’t believe in chronic long-term medication. I have converted to the natural route. 

I can’t explain how this AIM thing is just working and doing the best for me. I’ve lost more than fifty pounds (27 kilos) by following this natural route of using AIM products.
