Natural Nutrition from AIM

Since joining The AIM Companies (AIM) in 1988, we have benefited a lot! Not only financially, but more importantly, we have learned so many concepts about maintaining good health through the use of natural nutrition from AIM. And I have a number of experiences that I would like to share.

In April 2017, I broke out in hives, so on some parts of my body, large areas of rashes and bumps appeared on my skin. Some looked like big mosquito bites that were red, itchy and swollen; the worst were near my waist. These eruptions popped up usually in the middle of every night. It was really annoying!

I went to a pharmacy to ask what I should do, and the pharmacist gave me an antihistamine, which is a drug used to treat allergic reactions. I only tried it once and didn’t want to use it anymore because I didn’t believe allopathic medicine would cure this skin problem.

Later, it occurred to me that I could apply Mag-nificence lotion to the affected area. After about 10 minutes, the redness, burning and swelling disappeared and the itching stopped. I continued using AIM’s topical magnesium for a few months and got rid of this skin problem. No more suffering during the night. Another great benefit is that magnesium helps you sleep, so I get a good night’s sleep. It’s so great . . . killing two birds with one stone.

For many years, I had a poorly functioning digestive system. Although many others suffer from constipation, my problem was loose, watery bowel movements. I had to go to the bathroom five or six times a day, even once or twice during the middle of the night. Again, it was very annoying. Not long ago, I started taking FloraFood on a regular basis. Wow! A few days later I was having regular bowel movements once or twice a day.

I also treasure Composure. I take two capsules before bedtime. It helps improve the quality of my sleep. I feel much better, more refreshed and full of energy the morning after having a deep sleep throughout the night.

From all of these experiences I’ve learned “The body is the best doctor, and food is the best medicine.” Hurray! Long Live AIM!

Her Allergies, Constipation and Cough Just Vanished!

I am so thankful that Director Kathy Kong introduced me to the AIM products and to Chairman’s Club Director Dr. Yu-Shiaw Chen for sharing her knowledge about nutrition. In less than a year, I have experienced several improvements in my health.

I began taking AIM LeafGreens in February last year. It solved my constipation almost immediately. Because those results were so amazing, I ordered more products, like the AIM Garden Trio and Herbal Fiberblend. My spring allergies also vanished. I expected allergies in May because I’ve had allergy problems stretching back to 2004: nose bleeds, itchy eyes and a runny nose. They really bothered me. The medicine my doctor prescribed didn’t help at all. Surprisingly, I didn’t have any allergy symptoms in May. I believe that the AIM products helped to improve my immune system and kept me from having an allergy attack.

I always had throat problems, too. This caused me to cough a lot, and I typically
lost my voice at least twice a year. I used to see Chinese herbal doctors for acupuncture or bought herbal soups to deal with this. The cough would often last for one month, and I suffered a lot. I use the LeafGreens and the Herbal Fiberblend twice daily, and I recover very quickly now. I don’t need to see the herbal doctor anymore. It saves me money, and I don’t cough!

Last year, I had neck and back pains, which caused weakness in my legs and numbness in my toes sometimes. Around Thanksgiving, my Testimonial legs felt very weak. Dr. Yu-Shiaw Chen suggested Mag-nificence lotion. After I used it, my legs felt better. I use the lotion every day now, and my legs feel stronger and my toes aren’t numb anymore.

A Great Testimony Has Grown My AIM Business

I am a mother of four children ages 11 (Zani), 9 (Roan), 7 (Carla) and 2 (Jolanda). As a mom, my children and I have struggled a lot with health issues. I went in search of a more natural way of solving our health problems.

I met Royal Emerald Director Madaleine Helm in July 2014. My son Roan was sick all the time. He complained about a stomach ache for quite a few years which X-ray’s showed as constipation. As he got older, he often had bronchitis, terrible headaches and neck pains, later on diarrhea for weeks. I thought that this could be a food allergy.

Madaleine convinced me to take Roan for an allergy test; it came back with gluten, milk, egg and peanut sensitivity. Since then, we started using AIM BarleyLife to address the inflammation caused by the food sensitivity; we used AIM FloraFood to restore good bacteria in the small intestine and help strengthen the immune system. Herbal Fiberblend helped get rid of the constipation and diarrhea.

Carla our daughter also had ongoing stomach pain. X-rays, a CT scan and blood tests did not show anything, and then after a food sensitivity test, she was found to be sensitive to forty-four different foods. We, as a family, decided to go gluten- and dairy-free. All of us are really feeling the difference. My husband (Johan) who was not a fan of the “natural way” felt the great benefits of the AIM products, and now he is doing a lot of marketing for me. He has the Garden Trio every morning before work. He takes his Red Rush to help him perform better during his squash games.

After our family started using the products, I really had the passion to help other people with their health issues. Madaleine started doing talks for me and helps me a lot with her knowledge. After just over a year, I have one Director under me and a few people working hard to become Director soon. The best part of my AIM business is all the great testimonies of my clients and how the products have helped them with their health.

Building my AIM business was a great opportunity for me to start earning an extra income while still being with my children at home. I can plan my own work schedule. For me it is easy to market the AIM products because my family has a great testimony. I really think you first need to use the AIM products yourself, have a testimony and then share with other people. That is the only way to make a huge success of the AIM business. I don’t look back one day with regret. I am just so grateful that the AIM business has come along. I plan to keep working very hard in the new year and encourage people to also start a business; that’s the only way my AIM business can grow.

I have a good relationship with the people at South Africa’s AIM office and they are also very helpful; that makes my business also worth it. Thanks to AIM for giving me such an opportunity. It’s not such a long time that my family and I have been part of the AIM family, but what a huge difference it has made in our life. It’s unbelievable.

AIM Changed My Life!

AIM was a true godsend for me and my family.

My son was born with many allergies and eczema, and he developed asthma at the age of four. I didn’t know a single thing about nutrition, so I prayed, “Lord, show me what I am doing wrong.” During the next month, He sent me to a new Bible study group, where I was introduced to the AIM products. Very skeptically, I started my son on AIM’s green barley grass powder. After using it for only a couple of weeks, my four-year- old’s asthma started to clear up. I started to read up on health and nutrition and attended a friend’s healthy cooking demonstrations. The year was 1989, and my journey with AIM to better health had started!

This same friend told me about the AIM business opportunity. Being a stay-at-home mom with a struggling marriage, this caught my attention. I told my friend that I want to do this as a business.

The struggles in my marriage propelled me to persevere in becoming financially independent and not give up. Not long after joining AIM, I went through a divorce. Being a single mom with no financial support from my husband, I found myself going through tough times. With the moral support of friends, family, and upline, and with a monthly AIM check, my son and I got our own little two-bedroom place. I started doing more AIM talks and educated myself in health and nutrition. Before long, I was seeing people in my small townhouse, using my little dining room as an AIM office.

We used the products ourselves, but some months I only had enough income to provide my son with only one product— none for myself. We became living testimonies of the benefits of taking AIM BarleyLife® and other AIM products.

AIM has provided me the opportunity to choose my hours. Through working my AIM business, I had the wonderful opportunity to spend afternoons with my son right through primary school, taking him to after-school activities and being there for every match and cultural activity. Sometimes he even went with me to do an AIM talk, sitting in the front row, swinging his legs to and fro with his little arm in the air, saying, “Mommy, may I tell them what BarleyLife did for me?”

Through high school, I was able to be there for him, too—to watch his games, to see him grow up. I always paced myself, trying not to spend too much time on my business and neglect my first priority, which was being a mother.

In this current season of our lives, my son is off to college, turning twenty-one this year, and I am able to spend more time on AIM. I have a goal to enlarge my income and to reach as many people as possible with AIM’s excellent products and business opportunity.

Today I am married to a very kind man who gives me the freedom to do health talks, meetings and training, to travel extensively and to reach those people in need of health.

In looking back, I can truly say that the Lord sent AIM into our lives and that through AIM our lives have changed.

An Interview with Outstanding Member of the Month Dan Nichols

Dan and Shannon Nichols won the Outstanding Member(s) of the Month Award for their work in December. Their achievement will be noted in the March Issue of Living Well Magazine.  The BarleyLife Blog recently had the opportunity to communicate with Dan Nichols.

BarleyLife: What Do You Do for a Living?

Dan Nichols: ​I am a church planting pastor (been in the ministry for many years) and am pursuing professional certification in life/leadership coaching. ​

​My wife, Shannon, formerly taught math on the college and high school level, but for several years now has pursued an even higher calling… home schooling our children! ​

BL: Where are you from?

DN: We live in SC, but my wife and I both grew up in North Carolina​

BL: Tell us about your family, your pets, your hobbies, etc.?

DN: ​We have 4 children, 3 girls (14, 11, and 5) and 1 boy (9). They are indeed a blessing! We are seeking to pursue Christ in all things, and to raise up our children to be godly adults who shine the light of Christ in the world around them. As a family we enjoy playing music, getting outdoors, ​exercising in a variety of ways, playing games together, and just simply being together as a family and with other families.

BL: How and when did you get into AIM?

DN: We got into AIM last March (10 months ago). My wife and I had a personal consultation with Lere’ Robinson (Star Sapphire Director), specifically about the allergies and symptoms that one of our children was experiencing. Lere’ recommended BarleyLife, and after a couple of months of using it, her allergies (and mine too) almost completely went away! We were sold! ​

BL: What are Your Favorite AIM Products?

​BarleyLife, Peak Endurance, ProPeas, and Herbal Fiberblend are our major ones. But we’ve also seen much success with Prepzymes, Flora Food, Composure, and Mag-nificence. We enjoy Cocoa LeafGreens as an added delicious bonus every once in a while!

BL: What is your preferred method of building your business?

​Well, there are three ways really, and they’re all combined.

1) Giving the business to the Lord is primary. Unless He builds it we labor in vain, says Scripture. So depending on Him is key.

2) Concerning our part, our labor… help from our “upline” has made all the difference in the world. Lere’ Robinson has been absolutely fantastic and selfless in helping us get going. She has come to our town and done monthly health seminars, which we organized in partnership with other AIM-using families in town.

3) The other key is developing personal relationships with people and simply “walking a road with them,” as Lere’ says. It’s one thing to tell them about the products. It’s another thing altogether to help them use it, see success, and continue using products to bring them greater health!

 BL: What is your favorite AIM success story so far?

DN: Two: The first one is my daughter’s “victory” over allergies. That has been wonderful to see! The second has been a family in our church. One of their daughters had great struggles with allergies and asthma​​f or many years, but then after using the products (specifically starting with BarleyLife), those have gone away almost completely! And now this young person (mid-teens) is enthusiastically sprea​ding the word about AIM and good health!

 BL:What is your advice for anyone trying to win Member of the Month next month?

DN: Bottom line, here’s what I would pass on (and what we’re going to continue to try to do)… 1) Continue to pray and give it over to the Lord.

2) Get to know the products.

And 3) develop relationships. ​In the process of doing these, what we’ve found is that in developing relationships, a trust and credibility (as well as a genuine concern) has developed. And then as we know the products, we begin to learn how this helps the people with whom we have relationships! As well, we continue to go to Lere’ (our “upline”) and get advice and information on how to handle certain situations. Again, she’s been a tremendous help! And AIM, the datasheets, the webinars, etc have all been helpful as well in learning the products and helping us to help others.
