Have you ever considered that BarleyLife might be helpful for your four-legged friends? Neither did I until we had this predicament with our four-month-old golden retriever, Lily.
Upon letting her out of the barn one morning, I was surprised to see her face all swollen up. Whatever could have happened?
I immediately thought that it could be allergies and called the vet to confirm my suspicion. He agreed, suggesting it could be from a spider bite or something she may have eaten. Being a puppy, she chewed on anything that interested her, so who knows what could be this allergy culprit?
The vet recommended giving her Benadryl before it got worse. Unfortunately, I had no such thing in my medical supplies, but I did have an idea I thought might work.

As the day went on, the swelling slowly vanished, so there was no need to give Lily the Benadryl that my husband brought home after work.
Our eight-week-old Shiba Inu puppies love this green drink, too. Our three-year-old son loves BarleyLife Xtra, and I found him sharing it with the puppies. They nearly went crazy for it.
Though we don’t feed it to our pets on a regular basis, I know I have something to try should they need it.
