AIM Business Passed Down to Granddaughter…

shock

...but she made Director on her own.

AIM Director Tiki McIntyre of New Orleans has been drinking AIM’s green barley powder since she was a little kid. “I started taking it regularly about twenty-two years ago, but my father, Patrick Ryan, originally introduced me to it as a small child. He was always into fitness and health. He was an AIM Director who made a couple of thousand dollars a month in checks and went to a bunch of conferences like the one in Alaska. We had a hardware store and bike shop. He worked his AIM business from there. If anyone bought AIM’s green barley powder out of the Alexandria area in those days, they bought it from him. All different kinds of people came to the hardware store to talk to him about it. He had a massive downline. One of the things he told me was that ‘You have to have meetings.’ Dad had meetings all the time.

“Father would say ‘no white sugar, no white rice’ and he posted a sign up with that on it at the store. That’s what he’s taught me and that’s what I’ve taught my children. He baked his own bread and ate whole grains. He finally had to quit selling AIM products because it conflicted with his insurance job. He still takes AIM BarleyLife® and AIM Herbal Fiberblend®. He is meticulous about it. He had to give his business to his wife. I didn’t inherit the business from dad, I took over my grandfather’s business and made Director on my own. “

Tiki’s grandfather, Jerry L. Ryan, signed up under her father and she still has his briefcase containing old AIM Companies magazines, lots of brochures, and pamphlets with tips on how to take barley powder and caplets. The briefcase even has an old AIM advertising kit that looks like it was printed out on a dot matrix printer. There’s also promotional material that the Member literally has to cut out pictures of the AIM Garden Trio® with scissors. Her sister and her aunt are also AIM Members.

“I’m a personal trainer and studied exercise physiology at Louisiana State University. I firmly believe that healthcare problems start with what you put in your mouth and how active you are. If a machine sits out in the field and doesn’t do anything, it gets all rusty. That’s just what happens to your body.

“I like to live like a New Orleanian. I like to eat the local foods and have a glass of wine with friends. That’s why the AIM products are so great. I drink the AIM juices and if I want to go out to dinner then I can and I know that my nutrition has been taken care of. I can enjoy life without scrimping around eating celery all the time. The standard American diet doesn’t give people enough nutrition, but with the AIM products, I don’t have to worry about it as much. I don’t have to adhere to any crazy diet plan. Juicing with the AIM products is sustainable and easy. It’s there and it’s done. If I had to do all that juicing and had to clean the juicer and the counters and deal with the rinds and stuff, I wouldn’t do it. I’m too busy. That’s why the AIM products are so great for me. My husband, my kids and I are able to maintain healthy, nutritious diets conveniently.

“I’m going to continue the family legacy by passing on AIM to my kids. My husband’s daughter is taking the AIM products. I’m going to sign her up when she goes off to school. She takes BarleyLife, Herbal Fiberblend and AIM Proancynol®. Proancynol really helps her with her allergies.

“My kids love BarleyLife. My two-year-old and I were at a member of my downline’s house when she saw a BarleyLife canister there. She near-hyperventilated with excitement, pointing and yelling ‘Yes!’ ‘Yes!’ All my kids love it. I put the Garden Trio powder and a little flour into a bowl and my kids play with it like pixie sticks. They eat it dry. I was at the gym and one of my clients complained about his knee and my daughter happened to be there. She said ‘if you took your BarleyLife, your knee wouldn’t hurt.’ She was three when she said that. Around our house, we don’t drink chocolate milk, we drink AIM CoCoa LeafGreens®. We don’t drink Gatorade, we drink AIM Peak Endurance®.

“Nowadays, you have to be vigilant about nutrition. In my grandfather’s time, you just had nutrition—from the garden, snap peas and carrots. Back then, they had to cook. They didn’t have McDonald’s on every corner and trans fat. They used real butter and it was fine.

“We’re working with the other moms and the school to limit the amount of sugar at birthday parties. The food they serve at school is substandard. It’s in the best interest of the schools to serve the best foods. Instead they serve fruit that’s been soaking in syrup. They give kids sugary foods and expect them to behave properly and not to crave more sugar. It’s crazy how much sugar is in the food. I could scream it from the mountaintops. My sister’s kid has ADHD and when she takes BarleyLife and cuts back on her sugar intake, it really helps.

I believe a lot of problems will go away if you have proper nutrition. I believe in AIM.”

The AIM Academy

AIM Academy

I am very new to AIM, although I have dipped in and out for years. In addition, my upline is in South Africa, and I am in the UK. When AIM Chairman’s Club Director Jenny Brown, my sponsor, suggested doing The AIM Academy course, I decided to go for it.

I have been a nurse for many years, studied a lot about nutrition and have belonged to many network organizations. I didn’t think there was much this course could teach me. How wrong I was!

I love that the AIM Academy focuses on nutrition first and income second. As I worked my way through the modules, I was reminded anew of how great our Creator is and what a miracle our bodies are. I learned so much about renewal from the cellular level and beyond. Doing the course has also given me a hunger to learn more. My objective is to read one datasheet a day until I have absorbed them all.

So, onto the income and business building, it’s not as interesting to me. Though I do want to make a living out of this, so I’d better learn it well!

I found if I worked through each module and made my own notes to help keep them straight in my mind, it made sense.

All in all, an excellent course. It can only help to improve your health or build a business or both.

Natural Living with AIM

Liana

Back in 1997, AIM Director Liana Kopalyan thought she was headed for a career as an attorney. With a BA in hand, law school was the next step. After marrying Nerses Kopalyan, she decided to take a year off before continuing her studies.

During that time off, she found a small cyst after performing a breast self-exam. Her doctor recommended that the benign, tumorous mass be surgically removed. Within less than a year, it grew back. Her grandmother had died from breast cancer, so Liana felt there was a high possibility that the same thing could happen to her.

“I remember praying to God to show me what was wrong with my body,” Liana said. The next day she received a telephone call from Alice Muradyan, her friend and AIM Director, about a seminar in Mission Viejo, California, being conducted by Mary-Ann Shearer, AIM Chairman’s Club Director. Liana went to the event with a friend. “I was crying the entire time during the seminar,” she admitted. Approaching Mary-Ann afterward, Liana asked her for help.

Mary-Ann put her on a lifestyle-changing program, assuring Liana that within a month her body would repair itself and the cyst would melt away. “I bought everything Mary-Ann was selling, stocking up on AIM BarleyLife®, and then reading her books and doing research,” Liana said. “Deciding to do everything new, I trashed all of the bad food in my kitchen and went shopping at Whole Foods.”

Having decided to be 100 percent committed to the recommended lifestyle changes, it took only two weeks for her body to heal. To make sure that the cyst was no longer there, she went back to the same doctor who was now confused about whether it was the right or left breast because the cyst was gone. “It’s not difficult to comprehend. My body healed itself with nutrition like BarleyLife,” Liana stated. “I constantly take it!”

The journey to becoming an attorney reached a fork in the road at this point in Liana’s life. Instead of going to law school, she took Mary-Ann’s two-year course to become a Natural Health Consultant. Liana explained, “I got serious about good health for my family.”

In 2002, the family moved from California to Nevada, where they began attending the International Church of Las Vegas. “Our pastors, Paul and Denise Goulet, became our spiritual parents,” Liana stated, “providing leadership and bible training. After getting to know us, they supported me in teaching nutrition classes for the church.” She used Mary- Ann’s book as an outline and added fitness lessons as well.

Since 2010, Liana has been using her own workbook, 7 Keys to Vibrant Health, which makes it easy to understand and implement the lifestyle changes required to achieve and maintain wellness. Supplementing with AIM nutrition is one of the keys.

“I teach people that with the correct nutrition, the body can heal itself,” Liana  said. “As a general rule, I recommend the Daily Essentials—BarleyLife® for greens, AIMega® for omega-3 and -6 essential fatty acids, and AIM Herbal Fiberblend® for fiber and cleansing herbs. During the winter months, the AIM Garden Trio® is a must.”

Thousands of people have gone through Liana’s Natural Living program, and most arrived with health issues that ranged from the common cold, the flu, and weight management to life-threatening problems, including high cholesterol, depression, cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. By practicing the lessons learned, thousands have had incredible success, such as AIM Group Builder Gil Quintana, who was able to reverse a type 2 diabetes diagnosis and went on to become a part of Liana’s team.

“I have amazing team members with incredible testimonials,” Liana acknowledged, “including a woman who was able to heal from uterine cancer. Without chemotherapy, radiation, or surgery, three tumors disappeared within six months. She healed the natural way.”

Word of mouth is one of the most effective forms of advertising, and word got out about Liana and her effective methodology. Class sizes and schedules increased, and it was not long before she was holding seminars outside of Las Vegas for audiences of 100 to 1,000 in places such as Mexico and as far away as Armenia, where Liana was born and raised. She also teaches private clients from the USA, France, Holland, and Russia.

Her original intent to keep her family in good health has also come to pass. Liana and her husband, Nerses, who is a full-time pastor of the Armenian Church of Las Vegas have two daughters, Ovsanna and Loyda, and a son, Samuel. All three children take AIM products.

Liana is currently working out of a wellness center in Las Vegas and in the process of opening her own nutrition center. Her vision is to provide 100 percent natural products and services for clients and students local and abroad.

Looking back on what Liana feels is a divine connection that led her on this journey, she acknowledged, “I am grateful to Mary-Ann Shearer for restoring my health. Over the years she has been my teacher, professor, role model, and now an amazing mentor.”

Director Promotion: Joy and Nathan Thompson

Director Promotion Thompson

We are so thankful for reaching the goal of Star Sapphire Director in February 2015. What a blessing it is, and we want to give thanks first to our Lord, Jesus Christ, for this blessing and the blessing of being associated with such a great company like AIM that provides quality products to enhance life and health! So many companies out there are focused just on making a profit and growing as large as they can but not AIM! In such a thoughtful way, the company was established to share the profits with the Members, and they provide the tools to help us be successful! Thank you, AIM!!!

The AIM Academy is a most beneficial tool to further an AIM business. Whether you are just starting or are a part of the Million Dollar Club, I believe EVERYONE must complete the AIM Academy which educates you about the products, gives sales strategies, encouragement and has steps to improve your business. I found the Academy enjoyable and fun!

When growing an AIM business, everyone has to find what works for them and we found the Nutrition That Works! testimony book works well for us! We use it instead of a typical business card for most situations and have had many people calling and asking for more information because they read a testimony in the book that they could relate to! It’s important to stay in contact with your downline so they know you are available to assist them. We do this by sending a welcome letter with more information and sometimes we include the book Cleansing the Colon for a Happy and Healthy You by Teresa Schumacher or, if applicable, the Candida book by the same author. It is said, “A truly successful person duplicates themselves many times.” By helping your downline be successful, you become successful, too!

AIM events are encouraging to attend and so full of great information! I know we never would have been able to succeed to this point without people like Joan van Rensburg who presented so beautifully on hormones at the Ohio BarleyLife Conference, and I learned so much about Renewed Balance. Ralph Peterson has been such an encouragement. From Dr. John Shewfelt, I have gleaned so much information over the years, and Phillip Jermann endured all my difficult questions each time we met! Charlotte Thompson, our direct upline, has taught me all of the above and encouraged us all along the way!

Nathan became a Member in September 1997. After he and Joy married, she joined Nathan in the AIM Membership in March 2010. They became Directors in November 2010. They have 180 members in their downline.

Dixie Shaw: Mom Knows Best!

Dixie Shaw

Dixie Shaw, Royal Emerald Director from Gilmer, Texas, knows nutrition. She and her husband Eddie own and operate an online health store where they sell the AIM products alongside other equipment essential to a healthy lifestyle. She discovered AIM shortly after giving birth to one of their children. “I wanted to lose weight and get in shape,” Dixie said. A friend told her to try AIM Herbal Fiberblend. After using it for a few months, she signed up as a Member.

“I use AIM BarleyLife often, but Herbal Fiberblend is probably my favorite product. I take it almost every day. We use a lot of the other AIM products: Cell Wellness Restorer, CalciAIM, AIMega, Composure and CellSparc 360. Our new favorite product is AIM Red Rush. We rotate in a lot of the other products when we need them.”

Dixie also knows motherhood. She’s had five children and home-schooled them all. Reading, writing and arithmetic weren’t the only things that she instilled in her kids. She also taught them the value of eating right and healthy living.

“We took BarleyLife nearly every day. We ate healthy and cooked everything from scratch. We ground our own grains and almost never ate out. I taught them everything that I could about nutrition. They’d listen to me talking to clients on the phone. I showed them how to read food labels at the supermarket. If one of them brought home something like a cake mix full of artificial ingredients, I didn’t like that too well. I’d say ‘We don’t do that here.’ We tried to make everything from scratch. Then you know what goes into your food. Our youngest child just graduated chef school and became a chef.”

Today, Dixie and Eddie’s children are all grown. The oldest is thirty-three and the youngest—a fan of dry BarleyLife while growing up—is twenty-one years old, each one of them married. They all remember AIM conferences fondly. The first conference they attended as a family was in Phoenix, and the whole clan even journeyed all the way to Hawaii. The Utah conference was the final AIM-related trip the Shaws made together.

“My kids were almost never sick. Little kids are sick all the time, but ours just weren’t. We hardly have anyone sick in our family. That’s probably our greatest AIM success story. After using the products for twenty years, we are still healthy. We look about ten years younger than our actual ages. That’s something I’ve noticed about a lot of AIM Members. I think it’s the anti-aging effects of the products. I love that.”
