A Case for Supplements

First of all, this is not about a container for your supplements. It’s about making a case for supplements. Wait a minute: now it sounds like a blog about making your own supplement case. And that would just be wrong, so let’s try another paragraph of specifics.

The use of supplements has been debated over several decades with negative and positive opinions aplenty. The words “waste of money” and even “possibly harmful” are the bottom line for the naysayers. But they missed the key factors and the main point in the case for supplements.

Key Factors

All supplements are not created equal, and it is simple as ABC. If a health product does not contain:

  1. High-quality, NATURAL ingredients
  2. Actual ingredient(s) printed on the label
  3. Designated ingredient amounts printed on the label

Then the purchaser has been HAD. The supplement is not going to do much of what it purports to do for the consumer. And there are so many poor quality products (often used in the case against supplements) in the marketplace.

Main Point

The words “food supplement” mean “a substance designed to make up for a deficiency in one’s diet” (Collins English Dictionary). That is the main point of taking supplements: to make up for a deficiency. Not getting enough nutrition in the food you eat is the reason why supplementation makes so much sense.

Nutritional Deficiencies

The 2015-2020 Dietary Guidelines for Americans reports that the average intake of some essential nutrients, such as potassium, dietary fiber, calcium and vitamin D, is so low as to be a public health concern. Low intakes of other essential nutrients are primarily due to unhealthy food choices.

What if you eat well? Well, research confirms that today’s food crops contain lower amounts of essential nutrients than those grown several decades ago. This is apparently due to soil depletion: “Modern intensive agricultural methods have stripped increasing amounts of nutrients from the soil in which the food we eat grows” (scientificamerican.com).

The Answer

So what do you do? Supplement your nutritional intake with high quality, natural health products: brand name AIM! With an extensive line of “Nutrition that Works!”, The AIM Companies™ has been a tried and true go-to source of supplemental nutrients since 1982.

For example, those in the know know the positive difference the Garden Trio can make to a person’s health. BarleyLife, Just Carrots and RediBeets make up this nutritionally rich threesome that collectively captures all that is beneficial in barley grass, carrots and beets in concentrated powders that are easily assimilated and used by the body. Correcting a nutrient deficiency is as easy as adding the Garden Trio to water, mixing and drinking. A daily drink of this combo is supplemental perfection.

And there are so many more AIM natural health products to explore that make a “convincing” case for supplements. See for yourself by visiting the online product store.

Earth Day — April 22

Since 1970, Earth Day has been celebrated to recognize the importance of caring for the environment. It has become a worldwide event, reflecting the words of celebrated nature writer, Joseph Wood Krutch, who passed away not long after the very first Earth Day:

We’re all in this together.

As it happened, Krutch was whispering these words of togetherness to frogs: peepers that herald the arrival of spring. He would later realize the depth of his arrangement of words.
Many of his pithy thoughts are still worthy of praise:

In light of the earth’s importance to whole food and natural sources of medicine, the protection of the environment is vital to the health of mankind. The AIM Companies™ has always respected this concept since its inception from a field of barley grass, using farming methods that respected the lay of the land long before the concept of organic.

If we think of the body as an organic environment, which it is, then it behooves us to treat our bodies with respect and provide the kind of fuel that allows lifelong good health. The
AIM Healthy Cell Concept™ offers guidelines for protecting the body environment, especially in regard to nutrition along with supplements that provide concentrated whole food to make up for what is lacking in modern food production.

Throughout time, the earth has provided a wealth of plants that can be used medicinally, and AIM has tapped into this natural wealth to provide targeted nutrition for the body. Bones, hearts, joints, minds and more can have their structure and performance boosted with specific nutrients in AIM’s natural health products.

Doing whatever we can to protect the environment around and within us are positive actions that can be applied on Earth Day and every day of our lives. And even with powerful messages from insightful people like Joseph Wood Krutch, actions do speak louder than words. Pithy Joe would probably agree.

Wellness with Green Barley Juice

AIM Members (distributors of The AIM Companies’ wholefood and nutritional supplements) repeatedly meet or hear about people who need something that can make an improvement in their overall wellness. Some are trying to recover from particular health issues. Others simply want to maintain good health and practice prevention.

Most people are overwhelmed by the endless variety of products promoted in health stores, magazines and TV commercials and on the internet. Of course, all are advertised as being effective, but AIM Members know otherwise.

So when you are trying to aim people in a healthy direction, you cannot do any better than telling them about BarleyLife.  AIM has always had the upper hand in supplemental nutrition ever since introducing the health benefits of barley grass juice powder back in 1982.

Since then, BarleyLife has helped a countless number of people to turn poor health around, and today it remains the number one product of choice for maintaining good health. People need to know about this!
