Keeping It Simple

It seems that their will always be an endless amount of health advice for people to follow. This has been going on for centuries.

In the late 1500s, Luigi Cornaro, a Venetian nobleman, wrote a bestselling book titled, The Art of Living Long. Over 400 years later, Suzanne Somers, an American actress, wrote the bestseller Ageless, a book about reversing the aging process. And there have been countless “health” books published in between Luigis’s and Suzanne’s and many, many more that have since followed.

Case in point: all of the clean eating books. Essentially, you are eating clean when you consume natural, whole foods and avoid processed and refined packaged food. Not exactly a new idea, is it? Health books come and go, and then something else comes along to top the bestseller lists.

Like so many trends that rise and fall, it’s often a case of repackaging an idea that has been around for awhile and presented as new. If it becomes wildly popular, the concept sticks around for awhile until most people realize it doesn’t work for them. And then something else comes along to take its place.

With so many concepts to choose from, it can be difficult to find one that works.

Simplicity, Simplicity, Simplicity

When Henry David Thoreau wrote his literary masterpiece, Walden, a major theme of his from start to finish was simplicity. It’s a concept that applies to all aspects of life. So if you are looking for a way to maintain your health, it’s best to keep it simple.

The AIM Companies has kept it simple for over 37 years: Take care of your cells, and your body will take care of you. And one of the most important ways to keep your cells healthy is to give your body “Nutrition that works!”

The Healthy Cell Concept

First introduced in 1983, The Healthy Cell Concept takes you down five avenues that keep your cells in fine form: food, exercise, environment, protection and attitude. Each contributes to the function, growth, repair and replication of the trillions of cells in your body.

Exercise keeps you and your cells healthy. An external environment that is good for you is also beneficial for your cells. Protection from a strong immune system keeps you and your cells disease-free. Even your attitude affects your well-being. Being able to manage stress, for example, is a necessary “attitude” avenue for maintaining good health.

But first and foremost is the avenue of food, which is how AIM came into being. Making the incredible nutrition in barley grass available for human consumption paved the way to creating a green powder that the world knows as BarleyLife.

The Grass IS Always Greener on the Barley Side of the Field

Seriously, who would have thought that consuming barley grass could be a way to keep you and your cells healthy? Cows don’t talk. But it’s healthy for livestock to graze on greens such as barley, which has been shown to be the most nutritious of all the grasses.

It was Dr. Yoshihide Hagiwara who analyzed over 450 different plant species over several years. He determined that barley grass had the widest spectrum of nutritional components, including numerous enzymes and antioxidants.

In spite of his remarkable conclusion, Dr. Hagiwara stated, “It would take lifetimes of research to discover or understand the mysteries in the barley juice.” Turning this nutritious grass into a juice that could be dried and consumed as a powder is what led AIM to distribute BarleyLife.       The rest is history.

So, first came AIM’s juice powder of young barley plants and then The Healthy Cell Concept soon followed, offering simple ways to maintain good health. The idea of “clean eating” is essentially the “food” avenue of this concept.

And supplementing a nourishing diet with the concentrated nutrients found in barley grass, which is not something you can simply toss on your food plate, gives your cells an unprecedented source of whole food to keep them healthy.

AIM has made it simple to tap into this natural source of nutrition along with a selection of plant-based, whole-food powders and other natural health products that keep your cells healthy. It’s that simple.

The AIM Companies has been dedicated to improving the quality of people’s lives with life-changing products like BarleyLife and Herbal Fiberblend and by rewarding passionate Members with a free-enterprise compensation plan.
