Is It Time for Inner Spring Cleaning?

Shared by Members Toni Lund, Teresa Schumacher and Amanda Maradiaga

What has happened to the health of people in this great nation of ours? Many of today’s diseases have come about because of drastic changes in our environment, food that is being chemically treated and food additives that are toxic to our systems. So we suffer from illnesses that never plagued mankind before.

The colon is at the root of these problems. A regular diet of refined carbohydrates and a lack of dietary fiber increases the transit time of bowel wastes and stimulates the production of putrefactive bacteria in the bowel. When the colon is impacted with sugar, hamburgers, French fries, etc., how can the body ever expect to assimilate any good nutrients? Such eating habits have contributed to our nation’s obesity epidemic. This is all the more reason to clean the impacted fecal matter from our colons and eat healthier food to maintain them.

“It’s like I always said,” commented Teresa Schumacher, Chairman’s Club Director and formulator of Herbal Fiberblend, “you would never wax a floor before sweeping and mopping it first.” You can’t absorb any good nutrients from the food you eat if you don’t clean out the colon first.

Pharmacy or Farmacy?

When most people get sick, they turn to the “pharmacy” for their ailments. Yet our ancestors turned to the “farmacy”—wholesome food and natural medicine.
Teresa Schumacher is 92 years old and doesn’t take any prescription medications. She continues to take BarleyLife, Herbal Fiberblend and Composure daily. With a combination of healthy eating and AIM products, she has managed to stay healthy. Teresa is still helping people and loves to hear from those she has helped over the years.

Cleansing the Colon

While we recommend maintaining a daily habit of keeping your bowels moving, we are often asked how often one should do a more intense cleanse, a “spring cleaning” of sorts. Remember, it’s easier to clean a colon that’s well maintained than to clean a colon that’s had a year of binging and gorging.

Herbal Fiberblend, BarleyLife and Composure along with Just Carrots, RediBeets and PrepZymes should be used on a daily basis to maintain good health. But as mentioned before, with all the chemicals and additives in our food, even a well-kept colon could use a good spring cleaning every three or six months, and annually.

Here are some of our favorite cleanses; complete details can be found in the books, Cleansing the Body and the Colon for a Happier and Healthier You and Candida the Slow Killer (available as Kindle Editions on amazon.com or contact the authors for hard copies).

Accelerated 3-Week Cleanse

This cleanse uses Herbal Fiberblend, BarleyLife, RediBeets and Composure. It also includes Cascara Sagrada (optional) usually found at your local health food store.

Gall Stone and Liver 3-Day Cleanse

This cleanse uses Herbal Fiberblend, BarleyLife, Composure and RediBeets.

Candida Control Program (3-Month Cleanse)

This cleanse uses Herbal Fiberblend, BarleyLife and Composure. Full details of this cleanse can be found in Candida the Slow Killer.

Parasite Cleanse Using Para 90

This cleanse is not in either book, but we have recommended it often to people. Take 3 Para 90 capsules per day for 30 days in conjunction with taking Herbal Fiberblend, BarleyLife and Composure twice daily. Take 1 Para 90 capsule with each dose of Herbal Fiberblend and then one capsule before bed.

As with any good cleanse, FloraFood is recommended to replenish friendly bacteria and maintain gut flora balance.

Herbal remedies are foreign to many people. It takes a little more convincing to help them understand the value of being responsible for their own health. If we take care of ourselves and not wait until we get sick, how much better off we will be? This is why the AIM products are so valuable.

I had terrible pains in my colon every time I had a bowel movement, they would last from 8 to 10 hours. I was unable to work and couldn’t afford to see a doctor. A friend of mine recommended Herbal Fiberblend. I took it that night and have been taking it faithfully for 12 years and have had no pain!   –Ken S.

I have been taking Herbal Fiberblend for 10 years. I notice a difference when I take it versus when I run out and can’t take it. With regular use, I notice no yeast infections; I rarely get the flu or a cold. Although I was diagnosed with IBS, I have regular bowel movements and the gas and bloating I experienced are gone.

Herbal Fiberblend and BarleyLife for Good Health

BarleyLife

For over two decades, AIM Herbal Fiberblend® has been providing health benefits to those fortunate enough to have been introduced to its natural fusion of fiber and medicinal herbs. By removing parasites, detoxifying the body, and cleansing the colon, Herbal Fiberblend has helped a countless number of people back on the path to wellness.

One such individual is sixty-one-year-old Ginny McGee Roark. Herbal Fiberblend provided an ending to numerous ailments that began to slowly develop after she had heart bypass surgery ten years ago. One of her problems was severe foot pain. “Two surgical procedures on both feet didn’t help,” Ginny confessed. Without any health insurance, she tried to treat herself with home remedies and supplements, but nothing got rid of the pain.

In 2010, she spent eight months in Kuwait with her husband while he worked in the Middle East, traveling to countries like Dubai and Bahrain. Back living in the USA for three years, Ginny began feeling tired all of the time, fearing that her heart was failing her again. Things changed for the better in March 2014, when AIM Director Kris Nolan gave her the book Cleansing the Body and the Colon for a Happier, Healthier You using Herbal Fiberblend.

“What a godsend it has been,” Ginny exclaimed. “I started using Herbal
Fiberblend and was totally shocked to see live parasites swimming around in the toilet after having a bowel movement. Some looked like the little black bugs you see swimming on ponds in the woods.”

This effect that Ginny experienced comes as no surprise. Several ingredients in Herbal Fiberblend act as a vermifuge, which destroys or expels parasitic worms. Its blend of fiber and herbs has helped thousands of people, removing parasites from the intestinal tract and cleansing the colon. Around 70 percent of the immune system is located in the colon, so cleansing with Herbal Fiberblend helps to boost the body’s major defense against disease.

When Ginny started buying AIM BarleyLife® along with her Herbal Fiberblend from Kris, the foot pain that she had suffered with for so long finally disappeared. “What a blessing this is,” she acknowledged. “I cannot tell you how grateful I am for these products and the results I have so far. I’m telling everyone about it.”

Like Ginny McGee Roark, if you are one of the fortunate souls who have been introduced to the use of AIM products, you know first-hand about their health benefits. For those who have yet to try these uniquely effective, natural products, AIM awaits you.

AIM Products and Digestion

The Digestive System

The main function of the digestive system is to break down food into smaller bits so that the nutrients can be absorbed by the body and converted into energy.  Its secondary role is to remove the waste leftover from the conversion process.

Fiber

The average person gets only 15 grams of fiber a day. The American Heart Association recommended amount of fiber is 20-35 grams per day. Research has shown that people with high-fiber diets increase their survival rates by 22%.

Fiber comes exclusively from plants, and there are two types of fiber:  Soluble and insoluble.  Although both are necessary, soluble breaks down in water and insoluble does not.

Insoluble fiber can absorb water and keep you fuller, longer and can help make waste easier to pass. Some soluble fibers work as prebiotics.

Symptoms of low fiber intake include weight gain, constipation, blood sugar fluctuations and fatigue.  Fiber also helps control cholesterol levels and may improve mineral absorption.

Studies have shown that fiber may prevent diverticulitis, reduce the risk of first-time stroke by 7% and help your body remove the carcinogens in cooked meat.

Digestive Enzymes:

Digestive enzymes are proteins that act as biological catalysts that help the body convert food into usable stuff like energy or amino acids. They also facilitate the absorption of nutrients. Digestive enzymes are fragile things.  Food, in its natural state, should contain enzymes. Because so much of today’s food is processed and/or cooked, we often don’t get the enzymes that we’re supposed to.

Digestive enzymes may help with or relieve symptoms of:

  • Promoting growth of beneficial gut bacteria
  • Transforming food into nutrients
  • Tissue repair
  • Heartburn
  • Diarrhea
  • Flatulence
  • Gas pain
  • Stomach ache
  • Constipation
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Immune system health

Probiotics

Probiotics are living microorganisms that regulate the movement of food through the digestive system and have been used to supplement the treatment of several digestive diseases. Additionally, probiotics help balance intestinal pH and keep unfriendly and unwanted bacteria populations from thriving. Our gut flora does a number of other beneficial bodily tasks like producing B vitamins, pathogen protection, aiding our immune systems and disarming toxic compounds.

A thriving and healthy gut microbiome can be thrown off kilter by relatively common things: stress, not eating enough fruits and vegetables, artificial sweeteners, antacids, antibiotics, toxins and individual digestion problems.

Probiotics may help with or relieve the symptoms of:

  • Infectious diarrhea
  • Traveler’s diarrhea
  • Digestion problems following or caused by antibiotic use
  • Irritable bowel syndrome
  • Intestinal infections
  • Immune system health
  • Yeast infections and urinary tract infections
  • Atopic eczema
  • Respiratory tract infections in children
  • Tooth decay

Lymphatic System

As a sub-section of the circulatory system, the lymphatic system—composed of the spleen, thymus, bone marrow and lymph nodes—acts a filter for interstitial fluid. Sixteen percent of your body weight is comprised of this fluid.  It provides the cells a method of receiving nutrients and removing waste.

The lymphatic system cleans the fluid and returns it to use. As a central part of the immune system, the lymphatic system removes pathogens and toxins, generating antibodies for bacteria and viruses in the lymph nodes.

This system also plays a huge role in digestion because lipids—molecules such as fats, fat-soluble vitamins, etc—are also transported by the lymph fluid.

Herbal Release provides a unique blend of herbs that target the various mechanisms of the lymphatic system for improved digestion and overall health.  Thirty minutes after ingestion, our time-release capsules ensure delivery directly to the intestines. This product has been known to provide a gentle laxative effect.
