New Year Fitness and Weight Goals

Two of the most common New Year’s resolutions that people make as the calendar year comes to an end are weight management and fitness plans. These goals may go together like hand in glove but not necessarily so.

People can lose weight without focusing on a fitness routine even though getting rid of extra pounds inevitably gives their bodies a fitter look (and a little bit of regular physical activity will accentuate that). Some people struggle to gain weight, having a difficult time putting on pounds and building lean muscle mass. Then there are those who are not concerned about weight management but feel a little soft around the edges and want to firm up.

Weight and fitness goals depend on individual purposes and what it takes to achieve them. AIM can lend a helping hand with New Year resolutions involving fitness and weight goals: nutritional follow-through with the Sports Pack and the Weight Loss Pack.

Sports Pack

Getting fit can be accomplished through a variety of exercise choices. You don’t necessarily have to join a club or gym. For example, calisthenics can be done anywhere without any equipment.

Whichever physical activity is undertaken, exercise requires an output of energy and an input of nutrition that fuels the body. For many people, that means a sizeable intake of protein from meat to build muscle. However, some of the finest athletes on the planet credit their fitness and health achievements with a decision to go plant-based, including tennis champions, Venus Williams and Novak Djokovic.

The Sports Pack delivers supplemental, plant-based nutrition from a trio of products that helps a body to energize, replenish and recover throughout any fitness routine.

Peak Endurance delivers energy molecules of adenosine triphosphate (ATP) in a formulation that energizes the body physically and mentally, replenishes the body’s ATP levels and aids in its recovery time from exercise. Peak Endurance also includes electrolytes, B vitamins and vitamin C, all of which combine with ATP in a blueberry-açai flavored powder that makes perfect beverages to turn to for all fitness resolutions: drinkable energy!

RediBeets weaves its way into the cycle of ATP energy production by contributing vegetable nitrate,  which lowers the oxygen needs from exercise and decreases the amount of breathing required for muscle movement. Dietary nitrate from RediBeets is converted in the body to nitric oxide, which provides circulatory and respiratory benefits, improving blood flow to tissues and relaxing smooth muscles.

ProPeas adds supplemental protein from peas for a plant-based source of an essential macronutrient that builds lean muscle mass: a notable component of a fit body. Drink ProPeas shakes within an hour after exercising for optimal muscle-building benefits and recovery.

AIM’s Sports Pack fits fitness plans to a T for anyone who makes getting in shape a New Year’s resolution.

Weight Loss Pack

Losing weight is primarily a case of fewer calories consumed than those burned by the body during metabolism. This is why so many weight-loss programs involve counting calories. Going primarily plant-based makes the job much easier because whole, plant-sourced foods are low in calorie density and high in nutrient density. That’s a win-win combination for effective weight loss.

The Weight Loss Pack contributes supplemental, plant-based nutrition that satiates while reducing calories. The pack comes with two canisters of ProPeas to make filling, protein shakes to which Fit ’n Fiber can be added.

From a calorie perspective, one scoop of ProPeas is 60 calories and one scoop of Fit ’n Fiber is only 10, for a total of just 70 calories ingested if mixed in water. This protein-fiber beverage will keep hunger pangs away for hours, which translates as fewer calories ingested.

At the same time, the ProPeas’ source of vegan protein increases body metabolism that burns off calories and promotes the growth of lean muscle mass. The inclusion of GlucoChrom in the pack further helps the body to metabolize carbohydrates and fats and increase lean muscle mass when a healthy diet and exercise is maintained.

AIM’s Weight Loss Pack is an effective nutritional tool to enhance a New Year’s resolution to get rid of extra pounds and keep them from returning.
