My husband, Robert, grew up on his family’s mountainside, organic farm in Switzerland, and he and I have operated a Swiss-themed farm in Canada since 1968. Alpenblick Farm is our organic livestock haven, where animals roam freely on nearly 200 acres of land.
I’ve been an AIM Member since 2005, and I avidly use a variety of products, including Mag-nificence CWR. Over the years, AIM products have become a significant factor for all creatures at Alpenblick farm. For instance, we had to deal with a severe problem with a calf we named Elkie. He was raised mostly inside the barn after his mother passed away. One day, we felt it was time to let him enjoy the outdoors with the other cattle. When Elkie returned to the barn in the evening, he seemed weak and had to lie down immediately.
The following morning, Elkie still could not get up by himself. I gave him vitamins and minerals and lots of water and hay. Two days later, his condition had not changed, so we built a winch to lift him up and check his legs. Elkie’s hind legs were not so bad, just weak, but his front legs were buckled with swollen knee and ankle joints and would not straighten out.
I started massaging his legs and applied Mag-nificence, mainly to the joints. I also made a foot soak with the CWR. Then he needed to lie down again. Later that day, we lifted Elkie again, and his front legs looked a bit better, but he still could not put any weight on them. I applied lots of Mag-nificence again on all the joints of his front legs and massaged it in, and then bandaged the ankle joints.
The following morning, the swelling in his knees was almost totally gone. He could straighten them out but not his ankles, so I kept applying the spray twice daily. On the third day, Elkie could support his body weight but still needed help getting up and down. By the fourth day, he managed to get up and down by himself.
Thanks to Mag-nificence CWR, Elkie can move again. Without it, we would have lost him.
