Four Generations of Wellness

AIM is a company of integrity attested to by my use of their products for 32 years. I give them credit in part for being able to do all the things I do at the young age of 76.
I have been a Member of the AIM Family since 1989. My husband, my son, my daughter and I are pastors. I have eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren with the sixth on the way.
My great grandson, Levi John, enjoys drinking his favorite juice: CoCoa LeafGreens mixed with RediBeets. He is the fourth generation in our family benefiting from a healthy lifestyle, which includes consuming the AIM products daily. Through generational wellness, we all love the AIM products!

I was a physical fitness instructor for the YMCA and YWCA and thought fitness was the answer to everything. I was a jogger; unfortunately, I developed plantar fasciitis, a common syndrome in runners that involves inflammation of the thick tissues running across the bottom of the feet.
Combined with another chronic inflammatory condition that caused debilitating pain in every part of my body, I became almost totally bedridden. I was forced to walk with a cane or be supported by my husband’s strong arm for over a year. These signs were telling me that my body was nutritionally deprived.

When I met Irene and Helmut Thiessen, who owned a bookstore in my area, they gave me a jar of green barley juice powder and a video by Dr. Mary Ruth Swope. I did not believe in such things and stuck the jar in the cupboard for three months. But as the pain became more intense, I decided to give it a try. In a very short time, I started to get relief from the pain to the point where I no longer needed a cane.

The green barley juice powder is BarleyLife, a name that is so appropriate as it really gave me a new life. Now I can walk five miles and ride seven miles on my bike daily. For many years, I have been teaching a ten-week course on “Nutrition and God’s Word.” I truly believe if we get the correct nutrition and exercise for our bodies, they will rebuild and repair themselves.

In one of the Member meetings, I met Dennis and Kay Itami, who shared the value of BarleyLife, as well as Teresa Schumacher, who taught us the importance of cleansing with Herbal Fiberblend.
When I first got started, I was encouraged to become an AIM distributor in order to help pay for my products. I now use an assortment of AIM products, and I like to say that, I am my own best customer. My husband and I start every morning with what he calls “our power drink”: the Garden Trio (BarleyLife, RediBeets and Just Carrots), and I add in Peak Endurance.

Going from the point where I thought my life was over to now feeling the best I have ever felt is nothing short of a miracle. I look forward to many more exciting and fulfilling years.
