Reaching More Generations

When AIM was founded in 1982, most Members were part of the Baby Boomer generation (born 1946-1964) and for those of you who don’t know, after the Baby Boomers came “Gen X” (born 1965-1980) and now the “Millennials” (born 1981-1996).

If you are a business builder, you have the opportunity to position your business to tap into the millions of young people in this generation. By positioning yourself in front of this generation, you have the potential to explode your business.

Most millennials are disillusioned with the lifestyle led by their parents, who at times have sacrificed relationships and sometimes their health in order to work long and hard hours towards their retirement. In fact, a survey conducted by Deloitte revealed that 66% of millennials plan on leaving the workforce by 2020 because they want to do it differently. They want to make an impact on the world and live a life of purpose. At the same time, this generation embraces the Direct Selling Industry with open arms.

To sum it up, what Millennials want is family. They want to spend time with their kids; they want to look after their health with preventative solutions and are embracing health and wellness like never before! I can’t think of a better opportunity than AIM, to meet their wants and needs.

We’re at a unique time in history, where there is a perfect storm brewing. You have an opportunity to completely change people’s lives, and in return change yours. Five years from now, you might be going to a future AIM Celebration and your life could look completely different.

If you are a seasoned networker with AIM or just getting started, think about this opportunity and get to work. I am certain you’ll be thankful that you did in the years to come.

For those of you who have built large businesses and are more or less retired, reaching the next generation is your insurance that your business and legacy will be passed down for generations to come. You don’t want to lose what you’ve built. Reignite your passion, embrace change and transformation, set new goals again, register with fellow AIM leaders who have joined Chrysalis and become a part of the AIM business community.
