Reboot Recipes

Shared by Jan Baxter, AIM Director in Waterloo, Ontario.

Brain health is of prime importance for healthy aging. Just like computers, every now and then we have to “reboot” our brains to make them work more efficiently. As my husband, Wayne, and I are both in our late 70s, we are very interested in learning how to improve our brain power.
I enjoy incorporating AIM products in my recipes, so I created a couple of brain “reboot” recipes using three of my favorite AIM products: CoCoa LeafGreens, ProPeas and RediBeets.

Brain Reboot Chia Pudding

Ingredients
• 1 unsweetened, non-dairy, coconut yogurt [440g/16oz]
• 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries [wild blueberries if possible]
• 1-2 tbsp water
• 2 tsp chia seeds
• 1 mashed banana
• 1 tbsp maple syrup
• 1 rounded tsp CoCoa LeafGreens
• 1 scoop ProPeas
• 1 tsp RediBeets
Directions
• Add ingredients a little at a time to a mason jar
• Stir well and seal jar with the lid
• Refrigerate overnight
• Top off with more blueberries
• Enjoy with breakfast or as a snack or dessert

Brain Reboot Smoothie

• 1 cup water
• 1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries [wild blueberries if possible]
