5 Nutritional Strategies for a Healthy Mouth

Green Tea


Green tea is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties. That might be why there’s some evidence green tea helps fight periodontal disease. Research out of Japan found that men who drank green tea a lot had healthier gums than those who didn’t drink very much.



Gum disease has been linked to a deficiency in CoQ10. Due to their ability to protect collagen, many people use CoQ10 in conjunction with vitamin C to counteract receding gum lines.
