Dreaming with Faith Bring Success

It’s been our joy and privilege to be part of the AIM family since November 1987. We could never begin to count all the ways in which our AIM business keeps blessing us.
Our success formula is based on FAITH: faith in God and that with Him all things are possible, faith in AIM and AIM products and faith in ourselves.

F ~ reminded us to focus on AIM. AIM has been our passion for over 30 years. It’s so exciting when people thank us for helping them improve their quality of life.

A ~ acting upon our “written” goals always kept us on track. I think the biggest mistake that people make with a network marketing business is that they fail to treat it as a business. The only place that success comes before work is in the dictionary. I always enjoy going to work in my home office and choosing my own hours.

I ~ imagine success. I would get so excited hearing all the testimonials every time we had a home meeting, that afterward, when I jumped into bed, I would say, “Look out Chairman’s Club … here we come!” And now we are still excited to hear the good reports as we receive the honor of being inducted into the Two Million Dollar Club.

T ~ stands for teach and train others. The training that we provided for others through our home meetings, teleclasses, phone calls, literature, etc., always motivated us as well. It was work, but it was fun.

H ~ help everyone you can. Network marketing is a numbers game, so the more people you help, the more successful you become.

I am so thankful that God gave me a loving and supportive husband who did a lot of behind-the-scenes work, always helping me with meetings, health shows, preparing meals and gardening and encouraging me and our Members. Together, we thank our AIM owners for providing us with this amazing opportunity. We also thank our caring team of distributors, many who have become cherished friends.

Most importantly, we thank our Heavenly Father for directing our steps to The AIM Companies™. We can’t help but marvel at how our lives have changed, and, more importantly, how many lives have been changed since we joined AIM. Becoming a part of the AIM family was certainly the best decision we ever made. Dreams do come true when you dream with faith.

A Promise Kept … Continue Striving

My wife, Helen Ruth (Hoff­man) Baxter was never short on ambition. After a successful venture selling Avon products, she ultimately joined AIM in 1987, working out of an office in our home. Her goal was to work full-time selling the wonderful AIM products. I assisted her whenever possible.

In just five years, she and I achieved the highest possible level in the organization, AIM Chairman’s Club Director. She humbly credited The AIM Companies’ product quality with her success, but her love for people and concern for their health were always foremost in her mind. Her first customers were those she had previously come in contact with through Avon.

Over the years, Helen vigorously studied the AIM Member Income Plan with the goal of maximizing earnings to someday become a Member of AIM’s Million Dollar Club. This was her dream and our goal. Unfortunately, before this goal could be reached Helen passed on at the age of 82.

Shortly before her death, I made a promise to her that I would do the best I could to accomplish our goal and become members of the Million Dollar Club. Although April 28, 2011, was the most disheartening day of my life because I lost my beautiful wife, Helen, after nearly 57 years of marriage, I was compelled to carry on our business and more determined than ever to complete the goal we had set.

In January of 2018, our goal was achieved and I was notified that we reached the Million Dollar Club. Although, Helen is no longer here to share this moment with me, I know she would be elated at our milestone.

An Interview with Outstanding Member of the Month Dan Nichols

Dan and Shannon Nichols won the Outstanding Member(s) of the Month Award for their work in December. Their achievement will be noted in the March Issue of Living Well Magazine.  The BarleyLife Blog recently had the opportunity to communicate with Dan Nichols.

BarleyLife: What Do You Do for a Living?

Dan Nichols: ​I am a church planting pastor (been in the ministry for many years) and am pursuing professional certification in life/leadership coaching. ​

​My wife, Shannon, formerly taught math on the college and high school level, but for several years now has pursued an even higher calling… home schooling our children! ​

BL: Where are you from?

DN: We live in SC, but my wife and I both grew up in North Carolina​

BL: Tell us about your family, your pets, your hobbies, etc.?

DN: ​We have 4 children, 3 girls (14, 11, and 5) and 1 boy (9). They are indeed a blessing! We are seeking to pursue Christ in all things, and to raise up our children to be godly adults who shine the light of Christ in the world around them. As a family we enjoy playing music, getting outdoors, ​exercising in a variety of ways, playing games together, and just simply being together as a family and with other families.

BL: How and when did you get into AIM?

DN: We got into AIM last March (10 months ago). My wife and I had a personal consultation with Lere’ Robinson (Star Sapphire Director), specifically about the allergies and symptoms that one of our children was experiencing. Lere’ recommended BarleyLife, and after a couple of months of using it, her allergies (and mine too) almost completely went away! We were sold! ​

BL: What are Your Favorite AIM Products?

​BarleyLife, Peak Endurance, ProPeas, and Herbal Fiberblend are our major ones. But we’ve also seen much success with Prepzymes, Flora Food, Composure, and Mag-nificence. We enjoy Cocoa LeafGreens as an added delicious bonus every once in a while!

BL: What is your preferred method of building your business?

​Well, there are three ways really, and they’re all combined.

1) Giving the business to the Lord is primary. Unless He builds it we labor in vain, says Scripture. So depending on Him is key.

2) Concerning our part, our labor… help from our “upline” has made all the difference in the world. Lere’ Robinson has been absolutely fantastic and selfless in helping us get going. She has come to our town and done monthly health seminars, which we organized in partnership with other AIM-using families in town.

3) The other key is developing personal relationships with people and simply “walking a road with them,” as Lere’ says. It’s one thing to tell them about the products. It’s another thing altogether to help them use it, see success, and continue using products to bring them greater health!

 BL: What is your favorite AIM success story so far?

DN: Two: The first one is my daughter’s “victory” over allergies. That has been wonderful to see! The second has been a family in our church. One of their daughters had great struggles with allergies and asthma​​f or many years, but then after using the products (specifically starting with BarleyLife), those have gone away almost completely! And now this young person (mid-teens) is enthusiastically sprea​ding the word about AIM and good health!

 BL:What is your advice for anyone trying to win Member of the Month next month?

DN: Bottom line, here’s what I would pass on (and what we’re going to continue to try to do)… 1) Continue to pray and give it over to the Lord.

2) Get to know the products.

And 3) develop relationships. ​In the process of doing these, what we’ve found is that in developing relationships, a trust and credibility (as well as a genuine concern) has developed. And then as we know the products, we begin to learn how this helps the people with whom we have relationships! As well, we continue to go to Lere’ (our “upline”) and get advice and information on how to handle certain situations. Again, she’s been a tremendous help! And AIM, the datasheets, the webinars, etc have all been helpful as well in learning the products and helping us to help others.
