The Great Value of Nutrition

Star Sapphire Director Promotion: Vanessa Weitsz

Being an AIM Member and active independent distributor for the past three years and promoting to Star Sapphire Director in May 2018 has been such a beautiful journey for me. Although it was my own serious health condition that instigated my introduction to the AIM products, I am very grateful I was given this opportunity.

I have been sharing the good news about nutrition with family and friends. Being actively involved in health events has allowed me to reach many people. Introducing the idea of “Eating yourself to health” has become my goal and full-time profession.

I’m passionate about unveiling the truths about the great value of nutrition to the human body. Due to the widespread popularity and transparent dominance of modern medicine in Western society, nutrition as a powerful aid to restore health is generally perceived as inferior. However, substantive data proves the opposite to be true. My own testimony and those of so many people I have advised on healthy eating also testify to this.

Contributing to the significance of nutrition, the AIM Healthy Cell Concept™ helps to improve the overall quality of life by using five avenues: Food, Exercise, Environment, Protection and a Positive Attitude. The idea is that any efforts made in these five avenues will result in stronger constitutions and healthier lives for people and their trillions of cells. And it’s never too early or too late to get started.

You can further educate yourself with a variety of other AIM literature, including product datasheets and the AIM Member Income Plan. Endorsed by AIM, the Chrysalis Networx online Business Training Platform provides all the tools you need to start your own AIM business. I greatly appreciate The AIM Companies’ wide spectrum of easily accessible resources on nutrition and business principles.

I feel truly blessed and proud to be associated with a company that has operated with absolute integrity for over 36 years, caring so much for its Members and helping people get well naturally. Every time I get to give BarleyLife to people, it’s the best feeling knowing I have helped improve their quality of life. I look forward to seeing The AIM Companies™ grow from strength to strength as more and more people’s lives are impacted positively and the good news spreads.

My sincerest hope is that the truth and proven benefits of nutrition really comes to the forefront in the world. This may trigger an increasing number of people to at least be aware of and consider an alternative medical route before deciding on modern medicine as the only treatment available to combat their illnesses.

Testimonials should not be construed as representing results everybody can achieve.

4 Things You Should Know About Bilberries

1. Among the many kinds of berries, bilberries have one of the highest concentrations of anthocyanins. Each capsule of AIM GinkgoSense contains 40 mg of bilberry extract standardized to 25 percent anthocyanosides, which are super antioxidants that help to protect the body by fighting off viruses, infections and inflammation. They have also been found to assist in lowering the risks of some degenerative conditions. A diet rich in anthocyanosides from berries such as bilberries is a great immune-system booster. One of the major benefits of antioxidants is that they neutralize free radicals, helping to prevent or reverse cell damage.

2. Bilberries have great health benefits due to the compounds found inside them, including anthocyanins, resveratrol, vitamin C, vitamin E and ellagic acid. Nutrient-rich bilberry is beneficial for maintaining skin health, cardiovascular fitness, cognitive strength, healthy vision, unobstructed blood flow and improved functioning of the immune system. Research has shown that supplements with 25 percent anthocyanins produce the best health results; AIM GingkoSense meets that standard.

3. Bilberries are in the same family as cranberries, blueberries, huckleberries and lingonberries. Almost black with a hint of blue, bilberries are softer, smaller and darker than blueberries and huckleberries. Of those, only blueberries are classed as a large, commercially cultivated crop. Bilberries are too soft and juicy to be a highly successful cultivated crop even though in their raw form they are considered to be more flavorful than blueberries.

4. The bilberry is a spreading, low-growing, deciduous shrub with slender branches having tiny pinkish blossoms and bright green, oval and pointed leaves. It is found mostly in northern Asia, Europe and in North America because it grows best in moderate temperatures at higher elevations. It first gained popularity in 16th century Europe when herbalists began using it for a variety of ailments. Nonetheless, it was somewhat unknown until World War II, when American and British pilots consuming bilberry jam felt it improved their night vision.

Magnificent Magnesium

Shared by Shirley Chang, AIM Chairman’s Club Director

I first heard about CWR at the AIM Celebration in 2000. It was the main product that I learned about and remember about this event because Chairman’s Club Director Edna Smith spoke about how CWR helped her with migraine headaches.

About that time, I was having severe migraines, so every time I had an attack, I had a warm bath with two ounces of CWR added. It helped to get rid of my migraine headaches.

Then I noticed that in the wintertime, when I felt that I was coming down with a cold or the flu, having a CWR bath alleviated further symptoms.

CWR also helps to relieve fatigue. Recently, I ended up walking and working too much, so my muscles were totally fatigued. A 40-minute bath using CWR took care of that, almost making me forget what I had been through that day.

When I don’t have the time for a bath, I use the Mag-nificence body spray. Whenever I sprain an ankle, hurt my arm, have muscle spasms, cramps or neck pain, I spray it on the sore area and get quick relief. It comes in small bottles, so it’s easy to show people—I can bring it with me wherever I go.

By the way, I know of a doctor in Taiwan who has been able to help a lot of people by using Mag-nificence CWR to quickly relieve them of backaches and arthritic pain. It is really a blessing that AIM provides Mag-nificence for our customers and Members.

Mag-nificence magnesium topical products are available in body lotion, body spray and CWR bath additive.

Fit is the New Thin: Caitlin Lawrence

Shared by Caitlin Lawrence, AIM Preferred Member

I was born at a normal weight but with a big appetite. I remember dieting from an early age without much success. Although my mom was always into health foods and we were notoriously known as “the healthiest family in the neighborhood,” my weight tended to make people to think otherwise.

My mom was introduced to AIM products when I was about 14. She began forcing the whole family take greens and fiber. As a result of the healthy diet and AIM products, my brother and I rarely got sick. When we did have an illness or surgery, our recovery time was much shorter than average, like the time I had to have my stone-filled gallbladder removed.

When I entered university, I lived in residence for two years and my food choices became increasingly worse. I gained weight, became extremely depressed and anxious and did poorly in school. I suffered terribly from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), to the point where I’d have to eat two hours before going out because of the attacks that followed meals.

I finally decided to move back home and attend community college. My first year went well, but my food intake was still unhealthy. My weight ballooned to 230 pounds, and I was extremely unhappy and self-conscious about my body.

I made up my mind that 2013 was the year for me to make a change, so planning for my weight loss and health gain journey began. On April 28, I started Weight Watchers and began exercising five times a week while working full-time at a fast food restaurant. By December, I dropped to 165 pounds but reached a plateau that I struggled to break through.

I decided to try an elimination cleanse that worked dramatically for my mom, who had struggled to lose weight her entire life. The main component was filling your body with beneficial and nutritious food. It was at this point in my life that AIM products became vital to my journey.

My weight has fluctuated over the last three years, but three things have remained consistent: my exercise routine, my healthier food choices and the inclusion of the AIM products in my life.

Since I am lactose intolerant, have IBS and don’t have a gallbladder, I am unable to consume milk products and find it difficult to digest fats, particularly those found in deep-fried foods and meat products. I rely on the ProPeas for protein boosters because I do not eat much meat.

I love to start my day with a smoothie that contains ProPeas, fit ’n fiber and CoCoa LeafGreens. I have taken BarleyLife and Herbal Fiberblend capsules in the evening for the past eight years, but since attending the AIM Celebration in Toronto, I am now taking the Garden Trio in the morning and for lunch instead. I’m looking forward to reaping the benefits of this inclusion.

Other products I rely on include FloraFood and PrepZymes to help absorb and digest fats, AIMega to provide good fats for brain and skin health and Composure to relieve anxiety and depression.

I’m happy to say that I’m maintaining a weight of 140 pounds and haven’t felt better. My IBS and anxiety still like to rear their heads from time to time, but I am able to control them for the most part through a controlled diet that includes AIM products. While losing weight and gaining health are largely based on determination and drive, I can say with certainty that I would not be where I am today without AIM.

My Cells Were Being Well-Fed

Shared by Valerie Pope, AIM Wholesale Member

About 20 years ago, I began taking BarleyLife. I did that for awhile, feeling so much better and having much more energy. I would awake in the morning feeling refreshed. But then I let it go. I did not continue taking it.

As a result of taking massive doses of prednisone over 30 years ago during a pregnancy, which was on top of a blood disease, I was told that at some point I might get diabetes, and it did show up over three years ago.

I started taking BarleyLife again in 2016. I have noticed some incredible changes because my cells were being well fed, trusting God along the way.

God has put another person in my life, an incredible individual who has blessed me with the ability to try some more of the products. One of them is GlucoChrom, which is helping to stabilize my A1C and blood glucose levels.

I have seen remarkable improvements by being better cared for, so much so that I decided to try life without insulin injections around May of 2018. At my last doctor’s appointment, my A1C was the lowest it has been in three years. I’m really happy about this because I do not want to take medication to manage any system in my body. My desire is to use what God created.

I also had a catastrophic event with my left eye almost three years ago. It was called a type of glaucoma attack, wherein I lost most of the vision in that eye. However, at a checkup with my eye specialist around the beginning of the year, I was told that for whatever reason, things are looking better.

It’s amazing how God puts people on your path and in your life over the years. I thank Him and the people who have helped me along the way … that I will continue to see improvements in my health.

Certifications Matter

Members (whole-food concentrates and nutritional supplement distributors for The AIM Companies) worldwide recognize that our products are the finest. However, people outside of the AIM family are faced with many choices, so it isn’t easy for them to make the best selections when it comes to natural health products.

Independent distributors of AIM’s substantial line of high-quality products have several helpful deciding factors at their disposal to encourage people to make the finest choices: product certifications.

Knowing Product Certifications

AIM has five certifications that are featured on product labels and the website and in catalogs, datasheets and other AIM literature: Non-GMO, Gluten-Free, certified Vegan, Kosher and Sport Approved. It is important to be familiar with each certification when speaking to people who may be interested in purchasing AIM products.

As an example, people who are vegetarians or vegans are likely to share this aspect of their lives when talking about health-related issues and would be more inclined to purchase a particular supplement that fits their lifestyle choices.

Awareness of the certifications increases the product knowledge and credibility of AIM independent distributors and prevents unsuitable recommendations.

Non-GMO products do not contain genetically modified ingredients

Every AIM product is certified Non-GMO, so this fact is easy to remember for the entire AIM lineup. None of the ingredients that AIM uses contains genetically modified organisms (GMOs), which are bioengineered animals or plants through the use of gene-splicing.

GMOs have created a worldwide concern for people who want only natural sources of nutrition. All AIM products respect that concern. Telling prospective customers that every AIM product is certified Non-GMO is as good an introduction as any.

Gluten-free products contain less than 20 parts per million (PPM) of gluten

The AIM Companies™ has tested for the presence of gluten in all of its products. Most AIM products have tested gluten-free except for BarleyLife capsules, BarleyLife Xtra, Herbal Fiberblend, CoCoa LeafGreens, LeafGreens and Canada Herbal Release. Knowing these six exceptions confirms the vast majority of AIM products are gluten-free.

Being able to identify gluten-free supplements is of utmost importance for the health of people who have gluten-related disorders. For such individuals, consuming gluten—distinctive proteins found in wheat and other grains—can lead to a number of unpleasant symptoms, including abdominal pain, bloating, poor absorption of food nutrients and diarrhea or constipation. Those with gluten issues can take comfort in knowing that AIM has a substantial lineup of gluten-free products that can help to improve their health.

Certified vegan products contain no animal products or by-products

For anyone following a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle, the AIM products that are certified vegan can be easily identified by a logo or vegan indications printed on labels, signifying no presence of animal products or by-products and no testing on animals. This information is essential for vegans and vegetarians to decide which supplements are appropriate for them to take.

Kosher certification indicates the product, process and system comply with the highest kosher standards and regulations

Kosher food laws set a high bar in terms of cleanliness, purity and quality, so people not only of the Jewish faith look for the OK symbol on labels.

The Garden TrioBarleyLife, Just Carrots and RediBeets—as well the BarleyLife powder in the 180-gram canisters and sample packs are certified kosher, and The AIM Companies will continue to expand kosher certifications for those who look for the OK symbol on product labels.

Sport-approved products contain no substances banned by the World Anti-Doping Agency

The AIM lineup contains three products that are sport approved: Peak Endurance, ProPeas and Red Rush. All three are available individually or as a combination in the Sports Pack. For competitive athletes, enhancing performance with natural products that contain no banned substances is an intelligent choice.

Helping people to make intelligent choices when it comes to their health and lifestyles is a goal for all AIM independent distributors. Use product certifications wisely to achieve this aim.
